Headquarters and technical structure

The registered office of the Confederation of Funds for Cooperation and Solidarity is in Barcelona, at Via Laietana, 33, 9è 2a, where the standing technical head office is located.

The technical structure of the Confederation is formed by two coordinators, whose posts correspond at present to the managers of the Catalan and Valencian Funds respectively, who take up the tasks approved at the Working Plan, and by a technical secretary.

Technical office on-the-spot

The Confederation of Funds for Cooperation and Solidarity has an on-the-spot, technical office, which permit of establishing a larger contact to the people and of having a better knowledge on the real needs, besides facilitating the securing of updated information on the projects' operation, at a low managing cost.

The office's objectives are:

• The Funds' individual and joint representation in the corresponding geographical areas.
  
  
• The carrying out of the monitoring and assessment of the projects under way.
  
  
• Direct contact with the different communities and local networks in order to get to know their needs.

The office was opened in 1997 in Managua (Nicaragua), with the purpose of covering the whole area of Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. At present, it has the permanent representation of the Catalan, Basque and Majorcan Funds.
